In any case (now I am rambling), a friend of mine was diagnosed with this bells palsey/face paralyzes and her gp basically told her to suck it up that she was going to have this paralyzes permanently. I felt otherwise and wanted all the cards stacked in her favor and took her to my grandmom's caring doctor. He told her that she should stay positive and believe that hers would not be one of the permanent type...the time was too short for this conclusion in his opinion. Well...hers DID go away. So I really believe in two things from this: great docs really do matter in us keeping better health and our mind really does help or hinder us in getting better or to the best we can be with the hand we have been dealt. And like you, I am not dispelling the importance of people reaching out with depression for help but just saying that what we believe can impact how we react to things.deb aka murphthesurfhttp://abcsofra.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
